Edith Raw is a Brooklyn based poet, visual & performance artist. Early work in graphic design, art direction & photography, later combined with social justice issues, formed a foundation for her 40+ year conceptual artistic practice. Her approach to any creative form is from an intuitive, holistic perspective that synthesizes past, present & future. Edith’s wide range of multi-media, experimental & collaborative projects feature set/costume design, video & photography direction, poetry, performance, dance, public art & actions in New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, Albuquerque & Baltimore.
