Kangalee Arts Ensemble is a recipient of the Artist Advancement Initiative Award, a grant made by the Venturous Theater Fund through the Tides Foundation. This grant goes towards the premiere of “My Dying City.”
Henry Miller Memorial Library Commissions New Play! PREMIERES OCTOBER 15, 2025!
If the space between the activist, dancer and poet is inhabited by the clown, the Kangalee Arts Ensemble goes out on a limb to connect them all in this radical adaptation of Henry Miller’s “The Smile at the Foot of the Ladder.” Performed by Dennis Leroy Kangalee. Co-Dramatized by Magus Magnus. The play premieres at the Asilomar Chapel in October 2025 as part of the Henry Miller in the 21st Century Symposium.
