Ward Nixon

Ward Nixon is an actor, director, acting teacher, acting coach, playwright, dramaturge and print model whose career spans thirty-five years on stage and on camera. He first came to prominence as a New York stage actor in the 1990s, which culminated in his highly touted performance in the landmark production of James Baldwin’s “Blues for Mister Charlie,” directed by Dennis Leroy Kangalee. It was their first collaboration.

Ward teaches acting from his acting studio in New York City where he resides, TCA Acting Studio. During the winter of 2024, Ward played Polonius in KAE’s workshop of,Hamlet and later gave a heartbreaking performance in KAE’s first original play, The Life & Death of Art.

He is a firm believer in giving every role all that you’ve got while remembering to keep the joy in acting, always.
