My Dying City Vol.II (The Social Justice Suicide Hour) is a provocative chamber drama that presents the actors as not mere entertainers, but witnesses. Artists who have something to share - as themselves - and as the characters they play. This is a play that explore trauma, mourning, and the fragmentation of the radical left…mirroring the world around us.

Kangalee Arts Ensemble

Formed in 2022, The Kangalee Arts Ensemble Inc is a BIPOC-led radical theater company influenced by both actor/director Konstantine Stanislavski and radical liberation theorist Frantz Fanon. Kanaglee Arts champions the liberation of the actor as performing artist and a socially responsible citizen in society; and is beholden to new works for the theater that are dangerous engage in provocative interpretations of the classics. Heavily influenced and inspired by the legacy of the 20th century counter-culture exemplified by the Black Arts Movement and the Living Theater and earlier Left-Wing theater troupe’s such as The Group Theater. Emphasizing personal and political expression and form over the trappings of entertainment, hired help craftmanship, or the notion of being a “servant to the text.”
